New Delhi: Amitabh Gupta, Commissioner of Police, Pune City on Thursday confirmed that Kiran Gosavi has been arrested in a 2018 cheating case and a charge-sheet was filed in the case in 2019.
“If we get more complaints against him, we will register fresh offence against him,” he said.
He also said that there is no such demand yet (from Mumbai Police or any other agency) to handover Kiran Gosavi to them.
Earlier, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) witness in Drugs-on-cruise case Kiran Gosavi bodyguard Prabhakar Rohoji Sail alleged in a video that Kiran Gosavi took Rs 50 lakh from an individual after the raid, in Mumbai on October 2.
Earlier, Kiran Gosavi photos with Aryan Khan went viral on social media.
Gosavi is a witness in the Mumbai cruise drugs case in which Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested under the NDPS Act.
Prabhakar Sail, who is the personal bodyguard of Gosavi and also a witness in the Mumbai cruise ship raid case, had alleged that NCB Zonal Director, Kiran Gosavi and some other NCB officials had sought Rs 25 crores from Shah Rukh Khan in order to release Aryan Khan.
