New Delhi: The untimely demise of renowned Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as ‘KK’ has shocked his fans to the core & left the music industry in mourning. The versatile singer complained of chest pain during a concert in Kolkata on Tuesday following which he was rushed to the hospital but he reportedly passed mid-way.
While post-mortem will be conducted today to ascertain the cause of death, but the chaotic arrangement and mismanagement by the authorities at Nazrul Mancha auditorium is drawing huge flak from his fans & countrymen.
Couple of videos have surfaced on the social media, where the singer could be seen sweating profusely as the AC was not working properly. The singer also complained about ‘extra heat’ but nobody bothered to make amends. The auditorium was packed beyond capacity.
In a video, the singer can also be seen wiping his sweat with a towel and pointing to team member pointing upwards.

According to an eyewitness, the auditorium has a capacity of hosting about 2,000-3000 audience but more than double number of people had assembled inside.
Several videos of chaos & poor management have emerged on social media. As the singer felt ill and complained of chest pain, he was rushed to the hospital but not on any stretcher or wheelchair. He was made to walk to come out of the venue.
According to reports, chaos also broke outside the auditorium as several hundred people had assembled outside it. The authorities allegedly sprayed a fire extinguisher on the crowd to disperse them.
Kolkata Police have registered a case of unnatural death case. The cops are scanning the CCTV footage of the venue and also recording statements of the staff to get some clue.

The singer has bid goodbye to life at an early age of 53. He may have gone but his endless list of melodious songs will continue to entertain his fans.
