Maharashtra: 26-year-old kabaddi player bludgeoned to death with cricket stump, 3 arrested

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 26-year-old kabaddi player was bludgeoned to death with a cricket stump on the intervening night of Friday & Saturday in Maharashtra’s Dharavi.

The deceased was identified as Vimalraj Nadar, he is survived by his parents and siblings.

Police had arrested two accused in the case who confessed to the crime during interrogation, while the third accused was arrested today.

On of the accused has been identified as Mallesh Chitankadi (32), police arrested him from somewhere near his house.

A case registered under IPC Section 302.

According to the reports, it is said that Vimalraj was killed over enmity in the past.
