New Delhi: In a horrifying incident in Maharashtra’s Dhule, a truck crushed at least 15 people to death while left more than 20 injured.
The speeding container went out of control and rammed into vehicles & a nearby highway hotel, thereby crushing people under its wheels.
The mishap happened near Palasner village on Mumbai-Agra highway in Dhule district of Maharashtra.
A video of the incident surfaced on social media, apparently captured by onlookers & those present near the mishap site.
According to reports, the speedy container first hit vehicles plying on the highway and then rammed into the hotel highway. The collision was so intense that it ended up mowing down many people present near the highway.

Initial reports claim that the brake failure of truck led to this tragic accident. The driver failed to control the truck wheels as brakes failed. Following this, the truck first collided with vehicles, knocked down people, rammed into hotel highway and lastly overturned.
Those injured people have been shifted to hospitals in Shirpur and Dhule, police said.
