‘Mannerless CM of Delhi’: BJP tweets VIDEO of Kejriwal stretching during virtual meet with PM

In past virtual meets also during the Covid-19 pandemic, Arvind Kejriwal’s postures have courted controversy

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tweeted a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s virtual conference with Chief Ministers on Wednesday, pointing out the ‘poor mannerisms’ of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal during the meeting.

In the 19-second clip, Arvind Kejriwal could be seen stretching his arms while PM Modi was urging the Chief Ministers to reduce VAT on fuel prices.

The BJP took objection to Kejriwal’s ‘stretching sessions’ during the virtual meet and tweeted, ‘Mannerless CM of Delhi’. In the video, the Delhi CM could be seen sitting in a relaxed manner with his hands behind his head. A couple of netizens also objected to such posture & behavior during a meeting with the Prime Minister.

Tweeting a video of Modi’s interaction with chief ministers, BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya tweeted, “Arvind Kejriwal continues to disgrace himself with uncouth mannerism.”

In past virtual meets also during the Covid-19 pandemic, Arvind Kejriwal’s postures have courted controversy.

As the Covid-19 cases on an uptick across the country, PM Modi held a meeting with Chief Ministers of all states to review Covid situation in the country.

Delhi BJP’s media head Naveen Kumar Jindal said, “This man does not have manners to sit and talk in front of the prime minister. What a shameless man he is”.
