New Delhi: Milanion Group and Mahindra Defence are demonstrating the advanced capabilities of the AGEMA UGV at DefExpo22, India’s flagship defence show. Demand for autonomous unmanned ground vehicles is showing robust growth, driven both by the availability of increasingly intelligent platforms and the disruptive, agile companies like Milanion.

Sharing Narendra Modi’s ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’ vision of making India a self-reliant nation both Milanion and Mahindra Defence are committed to the ‘Make in India’ programme through locally based design and development.

AGEMA’s fully amphibious platform

Milanion, Global VP of Sales Mitesh Purohit, said “Our commitment and contribution in India focuses on collaborating with local partners that have the vision and capability to further advance the use of our core technology, encompassing the advanced autonomous system, designed with multiple configurations to provide autonomous unmanned capabilities.”

The AGEMA’s fully amphibious platform is designed to push boundaries and conquer the most challenging terrain for the planning and execution of critical mission support. The vehicle can be autonomously or remotely operated with decisions made based on real-time data collection and analyses, as well as built-in interoperability for control of additional payloads and systems.

Tested and proven to operate in the most adverse environments, the AGEMA is simple to operate and can be easily configured by the customer, depending on the mission. The vehicle has low support and maintenance requirements and can be rapidly deployed by vehicle, landing craft and air assets.
