Miss India Cancer Warrior Season 2 concluded under the banner of Shining Rays

It witnessed enthusiastic participation of about 20 cancer survivors who have come victorious after defeating their cancer.

New Delhi: Taj Vivanta in Dwarka, Delhi, played host to the inspiring spectacle of Ms. India Cancer Warrior Season 2, a heartfelt initiative organized by Shining Rays and powered by AS Life Line Cancer Care Hospital, Delhi, under the stewardship of Abhilashaa Pattnaik, (a distinguished fashion consultant and advocate for cancer awareness). The event was held at 29th April, 2024.

It witnessed enthusiastic participation of about 20 cancer survivors who have come victorious after defeating their cancer. The event transcended the traditional boundaries of beauty pageants to become a beacon of hope and empowerment for survivors. Through this platform, she has tirelessly worked alongside cancer survivors, leveraging the expressive medium of fashion to raise awareness and instill confidence in those grappling with illness.

Ms. India Cancer Warrior Season 2 served as a powerful testament to resilience and triumph over adversity. It not only celebrated the courage and strength of its participants but also served as a source of inspiration for countless others navigating the similar journeys. Abhilashaa Pattnaik encapsulated the spirit of the event with her poignant words, “Ye woh jugnu hai ho andhere mein umeed ki chamak banenge…” (These are the fireflies that will illuminate the darkness with the glow of hope)

Apart from various celebrities and dignitaries from fashion world, eminent oncologists like Dr Swarupa Mitra, Dr Kuldeep Sharma, Dr Ajay Sharma participated in the event.
