New Delhi: Giving a huge boost to transforming the lives of the youth of Uttar Pradesh, the State Government is making efforts to provide high quality education and employment to the youth through foreign universities.
With the help of the online learning platform Coursera, the Department of Vocational Education and Skill Development is providing free education facilities to the youth through more than 200 universities around the world.
The Department of Skill Development has started a free training program for the youth through online digital learning platform Coursera. The certificate obtained after completing the course will be recognized all over the world. Over 50,000 youth are being provided free education facilities through Coursera. This will help the youth of the state to get employment abroad.
It will also enable the youth of the state to become industry worthy by getting training on international standards.
According to the Department of Vocational Education and Skill Development, “After the completion of the training, these youths will also be provided a certificate by Coursera. The certificate received by the youth after training is recognized all over the world. This will give opportunities to the youth of the country to go abroad and get jobs”.
Choice of over 3800 courses
In the tenure of the Yogi government, government jobs were given to more than 4.5 lakh youths in the state. The youth were made self-reliant by linking them with self-employment. Now the government is working to provide employment opportunities abroad to the youth through the skill development department.
According to the Department of Skill Development, through Coursera, youth can do courses of their choice from more than 3800 courses being run by reputed companies through more than 200 universities and institutes of the world. The youth will also be given certificates recognized by the institutions at the international level.
