More secondary teachers recruited in five years of Yogi government than in 15 years of SP-BSP rule 

A total of 33488 assistant teachers have been selected in secondary schools. In this, 6,191 and 27,297 assistant teachers were selected in government schools.

Lucknow: Yogi government has taken a big step to strengthen the education system and meet the teacher shortage.

The Yogi government has filled vacancies in 40402 posts of secondary education in the last five years between 2017 and 2022, while only 33574 persons were recruited during the SP-BSP regimes between 2003 and 2017.

Yogi government is constantly making efforts to improve the field of education. The state government has recruited 40,402 posts in secondary schools in the last five years. A total of 33488 assistant teachers have been selected in secondary schools. In this, 6,191 and 27,297 assistant teachers were selected in government schools.

Along with this, 6070 spokespersons were also selected for the post. In this, 749 posts were selected in government schools and 5321 posts in aided schools. Apart from this, 844 were recruited for the post of Principal. In this, 61 posts were selected in government schools and 783 in aided schools, whereas in the 15 years between 2003 and 2017, a total of only 33574 posts were filled during the SP-BSP regimes.

The state government has also created 7540 new posts in secondary schools. Along with this, the state government assimilated retired teachers into the education system on an honorarium basis. Since the first term itself, it has been the effort of the Yogi government to strengthen the education system and to ensure that there should be no shortage of teachers, whereas the earlier governments did not pay attention to it.
