A case of cheating was registered against the Bishop PC Singh as the complainants said that he misappropriated funds while serving as a chairman of an Educational society.

Searches were conducted at his residence to recover documents relating to the misappropriation of funds, EOW’s Superintendent of Police Devendra Singh Rajput told a news agency.
EOW officials said that PC Singh was not available at home while his wife and son were present.

The Bishop is accused of forging documents to change the original name of educational society and then siphoning off money from students fee fund for fulfilling his personal needs.

According to initial investigation by the police, about 2.70 crore rupees was collected as students’ fees from 2004-05 and 2011-12 and reportedly embezzled to religious institutions and misused by the Bishop for his personal needs.
