MP: Congress workers come to blows at party office in Bhopal, video surfaces

New Delhi: In a major embarrassment for Congress, party workers engaged in scuffle at party office in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The physical confrontation broke out during meeting at the Congress office, that was called to chalk out plan for Bhopal Bandh on February 20.
Many senior Congress leaders including PC Sharma, former Mayor Vibha Patel were present at the meeting.

According to a leading Hindi portal, Dharmendra Rai, supporter of ex-Mayor Vibha Patel engaged in scuffle with another party worker.

The video of physical assault has gone viral on social media and is being widely circulated.

Cuss words exchanged at Cong meet

While the Congress leaders literally came to blows, there was also verbal exchange of cuss words. As the situation deteriorated, the media teams were blocked from covering the event and pushed out of the office premises.

It may be noted that local body elections are slated in sometime in the state, for which preparations are in full swing.
