Muslim World League chief Al-Issa visits Akshardham Temple; interacts with seers

The Muslim World League Chief also expressed his delightfulness over the upcoming BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi and said that it will go on to become a spiritual oasis for global harmony.

New Delhi: Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, Secretary General of Muslim World League and President of the International Islamic Halal Organization recently visited India for a five-day trip.

During his stay in the national capital, the Muslim World League chief made a special visit to the popular Swaminarayan Akshardham and spent about three hours there, witnessing the magnificence & splendor of the grand temple.

Al-Issa met and interacted with the Swamis and also discussed issues like world peace, global harmony & co-existence. He was impressed upon about Akshardham temple’s architecture, culture & values and also about its glorious contributions to the world.

He said, “India is a great example of Unity in Diversity and my visit to Akshardham – a place of worship, full of love, peace and harmony, sums it up.”

During his visit to the shrine, the Secretary General of Muslim World League was greeted by Brahmaviharidas Swami and Dharmavatsaldas Swami. Notably, Al-Issan had met Swami Brahmaviharidas a year ago in Saudia Arabia, during the first-of-its-kind global interfaith conference in 2022.

The Muslim World League chief took a walk around the Gajendra Pith and was visibly impressed with the beauty & carvings of the iconic structure. The design of stone parikrama impressed him highly.

An official press statement said that the Muslim World League chief was interested to know about the life, works & messages of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the gurus of BAPS, especially HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj .

“Al-Issa was happy to sit with Swami Brahmaviharidas for a dialogue on shared values of human harmony and common goals for a peaceful world,” it added.

The Muslim World League Chief also expressed his delightfulness over the upcoming BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi and said that it will go on to become a spiritual oasis for global harmony.

As a mark of love & respect, he was presented with a special golden Amrut Kalash and a miniature model of Akshardham.

His visit to Akshardham ended with the multimedia Sahaj-Anand water show. Al-Issa also invited the Swamis to Riyadh, while reiterating commitment to collectively create a happier and more peaceful world.
