‘My Youtube Channel could be banned soon’, controversial Youtuber asks people to vote & save the country

He discussed many issues in his interview with Journalist Karan Thapar, he also highlighted the fact how Press has lost its freedom after in India after the Modi government came into power.

New Delhi: Controversial Youtuber Dhruv Rathee who is known for making videos on the controversial topics especially Government policies is once again grabbing headlines for his recent video on Prime Minister Modi which has received over 50 million views. During an interview to Senior Journalist Karan Thapar the Youtuber expressed his thoughts and said that ‘My Youtube Channel could be banned soon’. He added that the government might ban his Youtube channel for speaking against the Prime Minister and his policies.

The famous Blogger has been in news ever since he informed people about his visit to India. Dhruv Rathee recently posted a video and titled as ‘A Patriot must be ready to defend his country against his government. He can been standing at the India Gate in New Delhi.

He discussed many issues in his interview with Journalist Karan Thapar, he also highlighted the fact how Press has lost its freedom after in India after the Modi government came into power. The4 Youtuber also gave examples of many Youtube channels being blocked by the government.

He said that ‘”Modi is around 70-80% towards becoming a dictator… “The day is not far when they will block my YouTube channel as well, they will silence my voice. So, I am already issuing a warning of what is happening in the country. Do not wait for that day when even my channel will be shut as it will be too late then,”

However the 29 year old blogger is backed by senior Congress Leader Shashi Tharoor who came in support of him and said, arguably the most widely followed & highly admired YouTube video-maker of his generation in India, whose last two videos on dictatorship have together achieved nearly 50 million views’.

‘No one from the Govt tried to reach to me’

Dhruv mentioned that no one from the govt has tried to reach out to him yet, but his only message is to vote and save the country.
