National Legal Services Day observed, mid air suspended balloon to spread awareness about fighting Covid-19

The mid air suspended balloon was launched in presence of Delhi State Legal Services Authority, Member Secretary, Sh. Kanwaljeet Arora, it’s Special Secretary, Sh. Gautam Manan, and its Additional Secretary, Ms. Namrita Aggarwal and also all the District Secretaries.

New Delhi: In commemoration with Indian Legal Services Authorities Act 1987, the legal services day was observed by Delhi State Legal Services Authority by flying mid air suspended balloon.

As the nation battles Covid-19 pandemic, the Delhi State Legal Services Authority took upon this opportunity to spread awareness in the masses about the Authority, and it’s functions & about the entitlement of people about their Right To Free Legal Aid in a novel and different way Launching the Balloon and by maintaining social distancing.

With an aim to reach out to the maximum people, the Delhi State Legal Services Authority flew a mid air suspended balloon.

The balloon, of the size of 10×10 feet, will fly at the height between 100-150 Feet’s, so that maximum number of people can view this mid-air suspended balloon from a significant distance on which the Name, the Motto, the purpose and the Toll Free Helpline Number of this authority has been displayed.

The balloon was launched in presence of Delhi State Legal Services Authority, Member Secretary, Sh. Kanwaljeet Arora, it’s Special Secretary, Sh. Gautam Manan, and its Additional Secretary, Ms. Namrita Aggarwal and also all the District Secretaries.

The mid air suspended balloon was launched from Kendriya Vidyalay, NFC Vigyan Vihar. It will remain suspended in the mid-air, spreading the message of legal aid & also about Delhi State Legal Services Authority for a period of 15 days from its launch.

Significance of National Legal Services Day

The primary aim of National Legal Services Day is to spread awareness among the people. The day also aims at providing free legal aid and legal advice to the needy, poor and weaker sections in the society to ensure justice for all the people of the country.

National Legal Services Day was first observed in the country in the year 1995. The day was started by the Supreme Court of India 25 years ago.
