New Delhi: Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned from the post of Punjab Congress President. He has submitted his resignation to the Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. Sidhu's resignation comes 72 days after taking over as the PCC Chief. 'The collapse of a man's character stems from the compromise corner, I can never compromise on Punjab's future and the agenda for the welfare of Punjab', wrote Sidhu in a letter to Sonia Gandhi. I hereby resign as the President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
