Nine killed in wall collapse in Lucknow’s Dilkusha area due to heavy rains

New Delhi: Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Piyush Mordia on Friday informed that over nine people were killed in wall collapse in Lucknow‘s Dilkusha area due to heavy rains.

According to reports nine people including women and two children were killed in the wall collapse incident.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident and asked senior officials to reach the spot.

CM also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased and has also given instructions for proper treatment of the injured.

मुख्यमंत्री जी ने इस दैवीय आपदा के मृतकों के परिवारीजन को ₹4-4 लाख की आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान किए जाने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

साथ ही जिला प्रशासन के अधिकारियों को घायलों का समुचित उपचार कराने हेतु निर्देशित किया है।
