“No Indian can forget this day,” says PM Modi on Pulwama attack | TOP POINTS

“No Indian can forget this day. Two years ago, the Pulwama attack happened. We pay homage to all the martyrs we lost in that attack. We are proud of our security forces. Their bravery will continue to inspire generations,” said PM Narendra Modi in Chennai

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Chennai Metro Rail Phase-I extension, completed at a cost of Rs 3770 crores. This 9.05 km long extension will link North Chennai with the Airport and Central Railway Station.

During the inauguration of various projects,  PM Modi paid homage to CRPF personnel killed in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack and said the country is proud of its security forces.

“No Indian can forget this day. Two years ago, the Pulwama attack happened. We pay homage to all martyrs we lost in that attack. We are proud of our security forces. Their bravery will continue to inspire generations,” he said. The attack on the CRPF convoy took place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on February 14, 2019 in which 40 soldiers were killed.
