New Delhi: After the reports of Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jains marriage life ,Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen has taken to Facebook, suggesting that there is “no meaning in hanging any unstable relationship like a bat”. Nasreen’s post referred to reports, which suggested that West Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress MP from Basirhat Nusrat Jahan is pregnant.
In her post, Nasreen also mentioned about the rumours of Nusrat Jahan’s affair with popular Bengali actor Yash Dasgupta, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in February this year.
This may be noted that reports of marital discord between Nusrat Jahan and her husband Nikhil Jain have been doing the rounds for a few months now.
Taking note of such speculation, Nasreen wondered if it is true that Nusrat “is in love with an actor named Yash”, then “isn’t it good for Nikhil and Nusrat to get divorced?”
“There is no meaning in hanging any unstable relationship like a bat. Both parties are uncomfortable with this,” added the Lajja author.
She further mentioned how delighted she was when Nusrat and Nikhil got married, as they belonged to different religions.
“But who knew that such an eye-filled couple will not stay happy for long,” added Nasreen.
Nasreen further opined that a woman can raise her child with her own identity. “Men don’t have to be face to face,” wrote Nasreen.
“Men are men at the end. Life becomes very happy if you leave one person and marry another. Do we have to marry another to survive a second poisonous life? Then this race won’t end, even the desired man won’t match. The desired man of an independent woman lives in imagination, not in reality,” she further mentioned.
