New Delhi: You’ve probably heard your parents’ stories about how difficult it was for them to attend school back in the day, but for many kids now in the twenty-first century, the situation is still the same. Many kids use peculiar and risky means to get to school, including tiptoeing down precarious cliffside approaches, scaling broken bamboo ladders, walking across freezing passes, and even ziplining across gorges. In a similar instance, a girl who was ziplining through a river to get to school caused outrage online.

The internet is outraged over the idea of ziplining through a river to get to school. View the video here:

On November 2, columnist Vala Afshar posted this trending video on his Twitter account. Since then, he has gotten a tonne of messages. Shortly after he released it, it quickly became popular. A girl may be seen in this video wading through a swiftly moving river while carrying a net in order to reach the other side and get to her school. Without using any safety precautions, the girl walks across the hazardous path. “We are incredibly lucky to live in a country where access to education is reasonably available to most,” Vala commented on the video when he uploaded it.

“I’ve seen how, in the absolute poorest nations, youngsters are usually spotlessly clean and as beautifully dressed as their families can manage,” one person remarked in the comments section. It demonstrates the value (and respect) they place on education.
