New Delhi: Shark Tank Season 2 has been making headlines and trending on Twitter nonstop since the day it aired its first episode. In the latest episode, things took a usual turn. This time it was not Sharks but the audience who came to the rescue of a devastated entrepreneur Ganesh Balakrishnan.
Ganesh Balakrishnan is the founder of Flathead shoes which are made with banana and bamboo fiber. Unfortunately, things didn’t go right for Ganesh as soon he revealed that he is left with no funds to sustain the business and is spending out of his pocket. Seeing his dream shattering in front of his eyes, he teared up saying he will have to find a job now.
Shaadi.com.founder Anupam Mittal even offered him a job and advised him to have faith in himself. Although the emotional pitch didn’t get him any funds from the shark.
The Sharks told him that such a dry phase comes in every entrepreneur’s life.

Although Ganesh left empty-handed, little did he know that soon his brand was among the top searches on Google. Fans had his back and the sales went up by many numbers. In fact, some of his shoes got completely sold out on Amazon.
Many people identified with Ganesh’s struggle and made prayers for his brand to revive soon and get back on track.
