New Delhi: In a horrifying CCTV footage from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, a 4-year-old girl was chased, bitten and dragged on the ground by a group of stray dogs.
The dogs left the girl after some minutes only after a passerby spotted the incident and chased away the group of dogs.
The incident took place in Bag Sewania area of capital of Madhya Pradesh. The unfortunate instance was recorded in the CCTV, whose video footage has been widely circulated on the social media.
A man can be seen running towards her in the viral video later, and started hurling stones at the group of dogs, and rescued the girl.

The girl have received injuries on her face, head and other parts of body. Police personnel Sanjeev Chouksey told that she has been admitted and is under treatment in the government-run Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal.
The girl has been identified as the daughter of a construction laborer, who was playing near her house when the pack found her alone and attacked on her.
In a similar incident in 2019, a minor boy was mauled to death by the stray dogs in front of his mother, who herself had faced injuries while trying to save him.
