New Delhi: Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is being looked at in awe not only by the other states but by the other countries as well.

In one such instance, a 23-member delegation of National Defence College (NDC) which consisted of six army officers from Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Afghanistan, was a mesmerised lot when they visited a government primary school in Bakshi Ka Talab in Lucknow district. ” This is beyond imagination that a government school could look so spick-and-span and well-equipped, ” remarked one of the senior members of the delegation which had Rear Admiral Dhiren Vig and Brig Manjit singh Manral as its senior members.

The foreigners were especially impressed with the work being done by the Yogi government in the state and said they would certainly tell about this back home. ” This is something worth emulating,” they were of the opinion.

The high-ranking delegation, who is on the official tour of Uttar Pradesh, also visited an Anganwadi centre, and could not resist themselves from heaping praises on the state government. This has happened only because of the hard-working attitude of none other than CM Yogi who made it sure that the state broke the shackles of being the backward state.

One of the members of the delegation, appreciating the transformation of the school, said that they had heard that the Yogi Adityanath government was consistently working for the betterment of education facilities for all children in the state and now saw it for themselves. They were even more impressed that under ‘Operation Kayakalp’, as many as 1.35 lakh government schools will be transformed in the state, out of which, the transformation of over 93,000 schools have already been done. All the classes will be upgraded and will be equipped with modern facilities.

The members of delegation had several questions to ask about how the government provided free books, stationery, school bags, shoes, socks, and sweaters to the students of primary classes so that they would not be deprived of receiving primary education due to financial hardships. With the efforts of the Yogi government to improve the Basic Education Department, the primary schools have witnessed an increase of over 54 lakh students, the officials present on the occasion told the visiting delegation.
