Pakistan releases captive BSF jawan, had crossed border during morning fog: Reports

The Border Security Force (BSF) had reportedly crossed over to Pakistani territory due to thick covering of fog.

New Delhi: Pakistani Rangers on Thursday released a BSF jawan who was held captive in its territory, TV reports said.

The Border Security Force (BSF) had reportedly crossed over to Pakistani territory due to thick covering of fog in the morning.

Pakistani Army took the decision to release the BSF jawan, after India approached it seeking the jawan’s release as he had inadvertently had crossed the border & landed up in Pakistani territory.

The incident reportedly happened near Abohar border in Punjab.
