“Pleased To Inform, Promoter Has Died”: Company makes huge blunder in exchange filling

New Delhi: A bizarre blunder made by a Rajasthan-based company while filing notice to the Stock Exchange is currently doing rounds on the Indian side of social media.

Netizens were left shocked as a pic of the exchange filling was shared online with text that read, “pleased to announce the death of the promoter”. As per the now viral picture, the company goes by the name AK Spintex.

“We are pleased to inform that promoter of our company Smt. Saroj Devi Chhabra holding 4,41,000 Shares (8.76%) is no more in this world. You are requested to please take on record the above said information of the company for your reference and further do the needful”, reads the text in the filling.

A Twitter user named Dukhi Aatma shared the screenshot of the filling with caption, “Dear investors, the world in a cruel place once you are gone. See how company secretaries using old template/wrong template changes the meaning”.

“Can something be done to correct the issue”, he further asked fellow social media users.

The users on the microblogging site seemed annoyed by the massive blunder made by the firm and filled in the comment section with trolling remarks.

“You never know how much the old promoter would have troubled the staff…No one puts their head into these drafts for sure…its mechanical..”, a user wrote.

Another said, “Google, Copy and Paste resulted”.

The company reportedly made the mistake while submitting its corporate registration on Friday.
