New Delhi: PM Modi addressed a webinar on implementation of Budget in education sector.
PM modi said, “To build Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the youth of the country needs self-confidence which is directly connected to their education, knowledge and skill. The new National Education Policy has been developed with this key thought.”
The second biggest focus after health in this year’s Budget is on education, skill, research and innovation, he said.
In this year’s budget, we’ve added more focus on institutional-making and access.
For the first time in India, we’re developing a National Research Foundation, at a cost of Rs 50,000 crore, said PM Modi.
We must use the talents of anyone across India and it is very important to come out of the linguistic barrier to make it possible.
The National Education Policy facilitates this. The National Language Translation Mission is also key to ensuring this, he said.
