PM Modi attends arti at Chamundeshwari Temple in Karnataka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday participated in the evening arti at Sri Chamundeshwari Temple of Karnataka’s Mysuru district.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday participated in the evening arti at Sri Chamundeshwari Temple of Karnataka’s Mysuru district. A video is also now going viral on the internet, featuring PM Modi at the temple.

PM Modi arrived in Bengaluru on a two-day visit to the state. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Chief Minster Basavarj Bommai, veteran BJP leader BS Yediyurappa and state party chief Nalin Kumar Kateel at the Yelahanka Airforce Station.

During his visit, PM Modi will be taking part in a series of events and lay the foundation for various development projects in the city and Mysuru.

Meanwhile, he will lay the foundation stone for Bengaluru Suburban Railway Project. He will inaugurate the Dr BR Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE).

On International Day of Yoga, which is on June 21, Mr Modi will perform yoga.

Before starting his visit, PM Modi tweeted about the same.

”Leaving for Karnataka, where I will be attending programmes in Bengaluru and Mysuru. The first programme will be held at @iiscbangalore, where a Centre for Brain Research would be inaugurated. The foundation stone of the Bagchi-Parthasarathy Multispeciality Hospital will be laid,” wrote PM Modi on Twitter.
