PM Modi dials Dalai Lama, conveys greetings on his 86th birthday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke on phone with Dalai Lama and conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to him on the occasion of his birthday.

Tweeting about it, he said, “Spoke on phone to His Holiness the Dalai Lama to convey greetings on his 86th birthday. We wish him a long and healthy life.”

According to a source in Dharamshala, PM Modi spoke to the 14th Dalai Lama for nearly 20 minutes.
