PM Modi in Mann Ki Baat: ‘Yoga is effective for patients with breast cancer’
PM Narendra Modi has accorded Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat the pride of place in various editions of Mann ki Baat.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his last Mann Ki Baat of the year 2022 on Sunday. This was PM Modi’s 96th edition of Mann Ki Baat.
PM Modi said this year was wonderful as the country completed 75 years of Independence while ‘Amrit Kaal’ began.
He said India progressed rapidly and became the world’s fifth-largest economy.
PM Modi on Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth Anniversary
On the occasion of Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth Anniversary today, PM Modi remembered his contributions which took India to newer heights in every sector including education, foreign policy and the field of infrastructure.
PM Modi on Breast Cancer
Prime Minister also talked about breast cancer and said Mumbai’s Tata Memorial Center’s research has showed that yoga is effective for patients with breast cancer.
He said as per the centre, regularly practising Yoga brought a 15% reduction in the recurrence of the disease among patients.
PM Modi on Kala Azar disease
PM Modi also mentioned about the various challenged that the country has overcome in the health sector. He said we have successfully eradicated smallpox and polio-like diseases from India.
He further said n ow, Kala Azar disease will also be eradicated.
PM Modi said Kala Azar is now only in 4 districts of Bihar & Jharkhand.
