New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday spoke to President Zelensky of Ukraine over the phone.
According to reports, the phone call between both the leaders lasted for about 35 minutes.
Both the leaders discussed the evolving situation in Ukraine.
PM Modi appreciated the continuing direct dialogue between Russia and Ukraine.
Prime Minister Modi also thanked President Zelensky for the help extended by the Government of Ukraine in evacuation of Indian nationals from Ukraine.
Prime Minister Modi sought continued support from the Government of Ukraine in ongoing efforts for evacuation of Indian nationals from Sumy.
