भगवान बिरसा मुंडा जी का आदर्शपूर्ण जीवन संघर्ष, शौर्य और पराक्रम का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने निस्वार्थ भाव से आदिवासी समाज के सशक्तिकरण के लिए काम कर समाज को एक नयी दिशा दिखाई और अपनी क्रांतिकारी सोच से अंग्रेजो के विरुद्ध मोर्चा भी संभाला।

Birsa Munda, the tribal revolutionary of the British era, was born on November 15, 1875. His birth anniversary is celebrated as Birsa Munda Jayanti in the country and coincides with the Jharkhand Foundation Day. Jharkhand was established in Birsa Munda Jayanti in the year 2000.
