PNB scam case: Fugitive Nirav Modi’s close associate, Subhash Shankar, brought to India from Cairo

New Delhi: Subhash Shankar, a close aide of fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi, has been brought back to Mumbai by the CBI team from Cairo, reported news agency ANI.

Subhash Shankar Parab is a key accused in the PNB bank fraud case worth Rs 13,578 crores.

Nirav Modi, his brother  Nishal Modi and Subhash Shankar Parab’s name was mentioned in the chargesheet that was  filed by the CBI in connection with the Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam in 2018.

According to the officials, Subhash Shankar was the Deputy General Manager (Finance) in Firestar Diamond.
