Pradosh Vrat 2024: Follow these Simple tricks to get the blessings of Mahadev on the auspicious day

New Delhi: Pradosh Vrat is the most auspicious and holy fast in the Hindu Religion. It is said that followers who keep this fast get the blessings of Lord Shiva. The term ‘Pradosh’ means beginning part of the night, this is why it is called ‘Pradosh’. According to the Holy Book ‘Shiva Puran’ it is believed that devotees who keep fast during ‘Pradosh’ do not face any ill-fate or difficulties in life. This year the devotees can keep the fast on the 22nd of March, Friday.

The Shukra Pradosh Vrat is considered auspicious as it falls on Friday and the days belongs to Goddess Lakshmi. People who are not fasting on this particular day can also get the blessings of Mahadev by following some simple tips. First of all, let’s take a look at the Shubh Muhurat of the ‘Pradosh Vrat’ . The trayodishi Tithi Timings- 4.44am ( March 22nd) ends at 7.17am (March 23rd)

There are two ways to observe this Fast:

One way devotees keep the fast without having food and water the whole day. The devotees also remain awake during the night and worship Lord Shiva. The devotee who is fasting must also offer water to the Shivling on the day of the fast.

In the second way, the devotee keeps fast during the day with fruits, tea, milk and they can eat something in the evening but it should not have salt. The devotee can have something sweet after performing the basic Puja in front of the Shiva Parivar picture. They can read the ‘Pradosh Vrat Katha’ or ‘Shiv Maha Puran’.

Let’s now talk about the remedies to be followed on this auspicious day to get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and get rid of the debts.

Try to offer curd to the Shivling. Avoid buying curd from the market. If you can then use home made curd with cow’s milk.

Try to offer Sugarcane Juice to the Shivling, if you follow this on every ”Pradosh”, you will soon see visible results.
