Pramukh Swami Maharaj centenary celebrations: Seminar organized for Teachers & tutors, focus on ‘sanskar-based education’

New Delhi: While the month-long grand celebration for Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Samaroh is underway in Ahmedabad, a grand seminar was organized in the premises for the teaching community.

Scores of teachers, tutors along with principals & Vice-Chancellors of leading institutions from Gujarat participated in the one-day national seminar at the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar. At the seminar, many acclaimed educationists underscored the need & importance for inculcating ‘sanskar-based education’ for the young generation.

Earlier on December 30, the colossal complex carved out for Pramukh Swami Maharaj centenary celebrations saw a special program organized by the children.

The program took place on December 30, started with ‘kirtan’ & worshipping of Lord and saw more than 65 children participating in the ‘kirtan bhakti’. Lot many children participated in the kirtan sabha & dance programs, showcasing their skills. A video was also screened at the program, showcasing their skills & talent in performing difficult activities. A couple of children were also honoured by the organizers for their dazzling performance.

The children paid tribute to the Pramukh Swami Maharaj for his timeless & valuable contribution to society. Giving them company on the stage was Mahant Swami Maharaj himself, who urged them to stay true to the conscience & always be respectful towards their elders.

A lot many dignitaries ranging from Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to Lok Sabha MP Mahant Balak Nath Yogi to Apollo hospital founder Pratap Reddy and many others participated in the program and paid tributes to Pramukh Swami Maharaj on the birth centenary.

According to reports, about 5 lakh are taking part in the centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. A children city has been developed here and ‘Adventure land’ is one of its remarkable attraction.
