New Delhi: The month-long Centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj concluded in Ahmedabad on January 15, with scores of noted luminaries and spiritual figures attending the grand event.
The grandeur and magnificence of the Shatabdi Mahotsav was evident from the colossal Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar erected at 600 acre plot and also the massive turnout of devotees & BAPS volunteers in the town from all parts of the globe.
As the organizers computed the data after event, it came to light that more than 1.2 crore people participated in the month-long centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj in Ahmedabad.
Those attending the Shatabdi Mahotsav got an understanding about the life of Pramukh Swami Maharaj & also his teachings for life. Among them, about 1.23 lakh people took a vow to live an addiction free life. Also, blood donation camps saw wide participation of volunteers. About 5,628, 920 cc of blood was donated during the Mahotsav.
The month-long mahotsav had many attractions for the BAPS volunteers and visitors. From replica of Delhi’s Akshardham temple to a number of theatrical shows & screenings, all kept the visitors captivated.
