For this, instructions have been given to officials and the administration has also risen to the occasion regarding this. Along with this, the Chief Minister’s Office is also keeping a tab on the complaints coming on Tehsil Day and Thana Day. The officers have to inform the CM office about the disposal and progress of complaints.

Tehsil Diwas is organised on the first and third Saturday of every month. The Chief Minister has directed that the cases coming on Tehsil Day should not be kept pending at all and showing sensitivity to the complaints of the people, they should be resolved immediately. The initiative of the State Government to make Tehsil Day effective has come as a great relief to the public. Their problems are getting resolved at the tehsil level itself and people no longer  have to go to the departments for resolution of their problems.

Along with this, the Chief Minister has given instructions to the officers so that women and daughters do not have to make rounds at the district or state headquarters regarding their grievances.

The Chief Minister has asked to resolve the grievances of women on a priority basis in Block, Tehsil and Thana days. Women beat police officers have been appointed in all gram panchayats in the state. On Thana Diwas, these women beat police officers are resolving complaints related to women.
