New Delhi: Himachal Police has arrested 4 tourists of Punjab who came down to Manali for a holiday but were caught only breaking the law. Police have registered a case against them under the Arms Act other relevant sections of IPC. The four men created chaos on the roads of Manali, brandished swords openly and even attacked a few locals, as per reports.

The tourists were asked to reverse their car as it was causing a traffic jam. This angered the group of tourists and they allegedly brandished swords in the public. A local is told to be attacked during the incident and has suffered minor injuries.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media where the tourists can be seen taking out swords from their vehicle and brandishing it and attacking a local. The incident took place 100 meters away from the Manali Police Station.Out of five, four have been arrested by the Manali Police while one is absconding.

Unruly tourists invite people’s ire in Manali 

The incident has caused panic among the locals. This isn’t the first time that the behaviour of tourists had caused fear amongst the locals of such hill stations. Earlier, photos and videos of hundreds of unmasked tourists on the roads Manali had gone viral which had gained concerns from all over the country and fear of 3rd wave from the locals. After the recent violent video, people are are expressing anger towards the incident on social media.
