New Delhi: In a shocking incident of alleged hate crime, Punjabi actor Aman Dhaliwal was attacked with a knife inside the gym in America.
The actor was grievously injured in the knife attack. A video of the assailant holding him by the knife has surfaced on social media.
The incident reportedly took inside a gym, where the actor was doing workout. The whole incident was recorded on CCTV camera, a video clip of which landed on social media & went viral.
According to reports, the attacker barged into the gym and cornered ‘Ek Kudi Punjab Di’ star while he was exercising in the gym. The assailant, brandishing knife, was reportedly hurling expletives & threatening the gym-goers.
The actor was seriously injured in the attack and is currently undergoing treatment in hospital. In the video, the actor could be seen with several injuries and face covered in blood.

In the video that is circulating on the internet, the actor could be seen being held at knifepoint by the attacker. The latter is heard demanding water from the gymmers while repeatedly threatening to attack the actor further.
Arman, though seriously injured, showed his nerve and put the attacker on mat. Finding an opportune moment, he swooped down on the attacker and pinned him down. Soon, those at the gym came rushing and got hold of the attacker.
The assailant was later handed over to police. According to reports, the attack happened at about 9.20 Am local time at Planet Fitness gym, Grand Oaks in US.
