New Delhi: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo and leader of opposition in Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Yadav’s younger son Tejashwi Yadav tied knot with long time girlfriend Rachel Iris in an intimate ceremony in Delhi on Thursday.
The closed engagement and wedding ceremony for which a great extent of secrecy has been maintained, took place at Tejashwi’s elder sister Misa Bharti’s farmhouse.
Tejashwi Yadav got married to Rachel, in the low key event, as per Hindu rituals.
Tejashwi’s elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav shared pictures from the wedding ceremony on his official Twitter handle and tweeted, “Blessings to “Arjun” for starting a new inning of life. May God bless this new couple with all the happiness of the world for life.”

Evident from the photos posted by Tej Pratap, the entire Lalu family gathered for wedding of youngest one in the family.
Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav & other leaders also made their presence at the gala event.
Meanwhile, according to a recent news report by India Today, Tejashwi’s wife Rachel Iris, who have reportedly worked as an air hostess and belongs to the Christian community will now be known as Rajeshwari Yadav.
Earlier, we had brought to you how senior leader Lalu Yadav was extremely displeased with Tejaswi’s decision of marrying Rachel. Lalu Yadav and the rest of the family members reportedly dissented as Rachel belongs to the Christian community.
However, after long persuasion, Lalu Yadav gave in to the Tejashwi’s choice.
