
New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday claimed that India launched a stinging attack on the Modi government, claiming that the countrymen are facing an attack on the basic structure of Indian democracy.
He also alleged that constraints were being put on the Parliament, press, and the Judiciary in the country.
Rahul said this while he was giving a lecture at Cambridge University to the MBA students at Cambridge Judge Business School on the topic of ‘Learning to Listen in the 21st Century’.
He said the minorities and media are under attack in India.
Talking about Pegasus on phones, Congress MP also claimed that the phones of several politicians have been put on surveillance and they are threatened.
Rahul also claimed that he was warned by the intelligence officers to be “careful” while speaking on the phone.’

The video of Rahul Gandhi’s address was shared by several Congress leaders on Twitter.
Last year in August, the Supreme Court-appointed committee was set up to look into the allegations about the government allegedly using Pegasus.
Around 29 mobile phones were examined where the spyware was not found when examined, but the malware was found in five mobile phones.
Rahul Gandhi also shared a picture of himself in the presentation slide where he was seen being held by the police personnel.
