Railway Minister gives children an insight into Vande Bharat Express… Watch

The children could be seen understanding the mechanism & features of Vande Bharat train with rapt attention & also with curios questions.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 2 Vande Bharat Express, Mumbai-Solapur & Mumbai-Shirdi on Friday, in presence of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Maha CM Eknath Shinde & Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis.

Prime Minister also took a ride in one of the semi-high speed trains, where he interacted with school children. A girl student sung a song in the train, drawing applause from the Prime Minister, the video of which was shared by a news agency.

In yet another video resonating the enthusiasm & excitement around launch of state-of-the art trains, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw was himself seen giving a first-hand account of the semi-high speed trains to a group of children.

The minister shared the video on his Twitter timeline, captaining the moment as “Vande Bharat Vibes.”

Minister explains ‘coach & bogey’ to children

The Minister gives an inside & outside view of the Vande Bharat trains to children. He is seen giving lessons to children about what train coaches & bogeys mean. He also explains them, train’s special features including air springs and how the ‘homegrown’ trains are providing extra-comfortable journey for passengers.

Vande Bharat trains count goes upto 10

Under Ashwini Vaishnaw’s charge, Indian Railways have taken big leap with couple of Vande Bharat trains being launched at multiple routes.

With the flagging of two Vande Bharat Express trains in Mumbai, the number of these trains in Maharashtra goes upto 3. First Vande Bharat train launched months ago, connects Mumbai with Gujarat’s Gandhinagar.

The total number of running Vande Bharat Express trains, now stands at 10. The Minister has already spoken about govt’s focus on ramping up production of these premiere trains.
