Rajasthan Exit poll results 2023: It’s advantage BJP, Congress seen falling behind

The recently concluded elections saw a high voting percentage, prompting pollsters to assume that the state was headed for power change.

New Delhi: New Delhi: In Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot government may be on its way out as most polling agencies have forecasted about its likely ouster.

Barring a few pollsters, most see BJP taking a clear lead against the Congress and emerging as the single largest party. BJP is seen crossing the half-way work of 100 seats in most exit polls.

India Today-Axis My India has predicted a close fight between BJP & Congress. It projects 42% vote share for Congress while 41% vote share for BJP. Other parties are likely to get 17% vote share as per it.

According to CNX, Congress is expected to win 94 to 104 seats to retain its government while BJP is expected to win 80-90 seats, giving them a close second finish.

However, according to C Voters, the trend is going to continue, with BJP set to make a comeback with 94 to 114 seats, while Ashok Gehlot-led Congress is poised to a second position finish with 71 to 91 seats.

Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023 are more about a battle between the Gehlot government’s public welfare schemes & series of sops and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal and charisma.

The recently concluded elections saw a high voting percentage, prompting pollsters to assume that the state was headed for power change.

Today’s exit polls will give a good insight into what to expect on D-day.

The polling was held in 199 constituencies of the 200-member Assembly. While the BJP raised the pitch against the Gehlot govt, hoping to corner the Congress govt on corruption & anti-incumbency, the latter is betting big on its survival.

The two parties are undoubtedly engaged in a tough contest.
