Rajeev Waliya appointed additional chief of BVP’s Public Relations (Delhi)

Bharat Vikas Parishad is a voluntary organisation where citizens from all walks of life come together to dedicate their services for the motherland. The volunteers work for the growth and development of country while promoting patriotism, national unity and integrity to build physically, economically and morally strong India.

New Delhi: Rajeev Waliya has been named as the Additional Chief of Public Relations (Delhi region) in the Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP). His name was proposed by BVP Vice-President Vineet Garg and cleared by Suresh Jain, National Organising Secretary of the organisation.

The new responsibility of Rajeev Waliya was confirmed by Madhav Sharma, Public Relations Chief, Delhi region.

Bharat Vikas Parishad is a voluntary organisation where citizens from all walks of life come together to dedicate their services for the motherland. The volunteers work for the growth and development of country while promoting patriotism, national unity and integrity to build physically, economically and morally strong India.

The main objective of the organization is to build a healthy, capable and culture-oriented India via its 5 Sutras ( maxims) — Sampark (fellowship), Sahyog (co-operation), Sanskar (moral orientation), Seva (service) and Samarpan (commitment).

At present, the organisation has about 1500 branches with around 70,000 members.

What does Bharat Vikas Parishad do

Bharat Vikas Parishad runs social service programmes and actively contributes in nation-building measures. Some of noted projects of the group include providing artificial limbs to handicapped persons, organising health camps, welfare programs for tribals, financial assistance to poor students and also organizing collective marriages of poor girls and boys.

To keep the young generation vigilant toward Indian culture, programs like National Group song competition, bharat ko jano (know India’s), guru vandan chhatr abhinandan (gratitude towards teachers and award to meritorious students), Yuva Sanskar camps, workshops and seminars for Bal Yuva (children and youngsters) are organised at regular intervals.

It also organises seminars for social awakening. Note publications by the group include Niti, Gyan Prabha.
