New Delhi: BJP MP from Mandi, Ram Swaroop Sharma died allegedly by suicide in Delhi. Police received a call from a staffer. He was found hanging and the door was closed from inside, said Delhi Police.
According to reports, Ram Swaroop Sharma was allegedly suffering from severe depression and was under treatment.

He was alone at his house in Delhi as his wife was on the Char Dhaam pilgrimage.
Following which the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting scheduled for today has been cancelled.

The news of his death was also confirmed by state party spokesperson.
Ram Swaroop Sharma is survived by his wife and three sons.
