Ram Temple inauguration: Various rituals from Jan 16 to Jan 22, details here

Many noted personalities from different fields including cricketers, industrialists, saints & celebrities will be attending the grand event.

New Delhi: With a fortnight to go for the historic consecration ceremony of Ayodhya’s grand Ram Temple, preparations are in final stages.

The consecration of Ram Lalla (child like form of Lord Ram) will take place inside the sanctum sanctorum of temple on January 22.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leading the nation in paying obeisance as Lord Ram attains his divine place inside the newly constructed grand temple on January 22.

Many noted personalities from different fields including cricketers, industrialists, saints & celebrities will be attending the grand event.

Though, Pran Pratistha will take place on January, a week prior to it will be full of events. They are as follows:

Jan 16 : Atonement ceremony will take place while Dashavid bath will take place on the banks of river Saryu, Vishnu worship and Godan

Jan 17: Devotees will collect Saryu water in Mangal Kalash and will visit temple with it. A procession will also follow with the Ram Lalla idol.

Jan 18: Formal rituals will begin and host of pujas will be performed. They include Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan, Vastu Puja etc.

Jan 19: Agni Sthapana, Navagraha Sthapana and Havan will be performed

Jan 20: The sanctum sanctorum of the temple premises will be washed with the holy waters of river Saryu and then Vaastu Shanti and Annadhivas will be done.

Jan 21 : Shayadhivas will be peformed.

January 22 : This will be final day when the deity will attain his place inside the sanctum sanctorum. The Ram Lalla will be consecrated in Mrigashira Nakshatra in the afternoon.
