‘Ramdev’s ghee impure’: BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh’s jibe at a public event

“If don’t rear cows & buffaloes at home, you won’t get pure milk & ghee. How will you stay healthy then? Will you consume Ramdev’s fake ghee,” the BJP MP said.

New Delhi: Brij Bhushan Singh, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Kaisarganj Lok Sabha seat took a jibe at Yoga guru Ramdev’s ghee and called it impure & fake. The BJP lawmaker slammed the ghee produced by Ramdev’s company Patanjali while speaking at a religious event in UP’s Barabanki district.

Addressing the gathering, he said that it was important to keep cows & buffaloes at home so that you and your children can stay healthy & happy. Referring to Ramdev-led Patanjali, he said that the ghee sold by Yoga guru company is fake & impure and also advised people to stay away from it.

“If don’t rear cows & buffaloes at home, you won’t get pure milk & ghee. How will you stay healthy then? Will you consume Ramdev’s fake ghee,” the lawmaker said.

The BJP MP was in the city to attend Shri Bhagwat Katha in Dere raja village. Addressing the gathering from stage, he spoke about importance of keeping livestock at home.

Boasting about village’s pure air & clean environment, he said that this was an important reason behind good health of people living in villages. He also said that he himself goes to graze buffaloes and there was no shame in it as its milk is good for your own & family’s well-being.
