New Delhi: BJP leader and actress Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack in Goa on Monday (August 22) night said police official.
According to reports, the 41-year-old leader had complained of uneasiness after which she was taken to the hospital.
She had earlier contested the Haryana Assembly polls from the Adampur seat against Congress candidate Kuldeep Bishnoi.
Currently, her post mortem is being conducted and local police are present in the hospital. Her parents are also on their way to Goa from their village in Haryana.
Earlier in 2016, her husband Sanjay Phogat was also found dead at a farmhouse.
