New Delhi: A day after Rahul Gandhi’s nightclub video became a big talking point, the Congress leader has found support from his brother-in-law Robert Vadra and the Bollywood actor Kamal R Khan.

Robert Vadra took to Twitter today and urged people to keep calm and not fall into the trap of politicians who are unnecessarily stoking a row.
“Rahul Gandhi is human too, live & let him live,” Vadra tweeted.

While extending support to Rahul, he also slammed the Centre and accused it of practising ‘politics of hatred’.

“RG is human guys… Live and let him live… Share love not Hate, as this Government is spreading … Peace to all!”.

Film actor Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) also took exception to trolling of Rahul Gandhi over spending some ‘good time’ at a nightclub. He said there was nothing wrong in Rahul doing a party at nightclub.

In the same tweet, he lambasted at the BJP govt and said, “let Congress make me spokesperson for 2 days and I will teach them a lesson.”

How Rahul’s party pics created row

The pictures/video of Rahul Gandhi partying at a nightclub in Nepal’s Kathmandu went viral after couple of BJP leaders Tejidner Bagga & Amit Malviya tweeted and questioned the Congress leader’s seriousness for politics. “At a time when the party was in tatters, tallest leader is doing a party,” they said.

However, hours later, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala clarified before media that Rahul Gandhi went to Nepal on a friend’s invitation to attend her marriage ceremony.

“Is it a crime to get married and someone attending marriage or engagement ceremony? To what level will the BJP stoop in spreading hatred and disharmony,” he asked while informing that the person getting married was a journalist.

However, Cong’s damage control exercise failed to garner positive reviews. The leaked video was lapped up by political rivals while netizens also took the opportunity to take jibes at the Gandhi scion.
