Rohit Sardana Passes Away: PM Modi says ‘his demise has left a huge void in the media world’

RIP Rohit Sardana: He had tested positive for covid 19, but passed away due to massive heart attack.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday condoled the death of senior Aaj Tak anchor Rohit Sardana.

PM said that Rohit Sardana’s untimely demise has left a huge void in the media world.

He Tweeted, “Rohit Sardana left us too soon. Full of energy, passionate about India’s progress and a kind hearted soul, Rohit will be missed by many people. His untimely demise has left a huge void in the media world. Condolences to his family, friends and admirers. Om Shanti.”

President Kovind also condoled the passing away of news anchor.

“The news of the demise of popular news anchor and senior journalist Rohit Sardana is very sad. His untimely demise is a huge loss for the journalism world. My condolences to the family and fans of Shri Sardana.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday condoled the death of journalist Rohit Sardana who passed away after testing positive for COVID-19.

In a tweet, Shah said that with Sardana’s demise, the nation had lost a brave journalist who always stood up for unbiased and fair reporting. “Pained to learn about Shri Rohit Sardana ji’s untimely demise. In him, the nation has lost a brave journalist who always stood up for unbiased and fair reporting. May God give his family the strength to bear this tragic loss. My deepest condolences to his family and followers,” Shah tweeted.

Rajnath Singh also condoled the death of  Rohit Sardana.

Sardana had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 24 after undergoing a CT Scan.

“I had got a test done a week ago after showing symptoms. The RTPCR showed a negative result but CT scam confirmed COVID. Condition is better than before. Take care of yourself and your family members,” he had tweeted.
