New Delhi: Apart from its stronghold on the IT industry, Karnataka’s Bengaluru city is also known for its congested roads and traffic. The potholed roads of the hi-tech metro city and people having to drive on them while stuck in the traffic for hours have been reported numerous times.
While residents are often caught narrating unfavourable experiences amid the snarled-up traffic of the city, a romance developing amid the traffic jams and ending up with two individuals getting hitched for life will leave you with a lasting smile.
The story was initially narrated by a Reddit user, screenshots of which went viral on the microblogging site Twitter, capturing netizens’ hearts.
According to Reddit user Aj, he met his wife near Sony World Signal, where they later became friends. Once, while he was dropping her off, the construction of the Ejipura flyover forced them to get stuck in traffic.
As they were both irritated and hungry, chose a different route away from the gridlocked area to dine out for the first time together, and their romance began with this unplanned date.

“I’ve mentioned this in another thread, but I met my wife near Sony World Signal. I haven’t put the whole story there, but the gist is that one day I was dropping her home (only knew her as a friend back then) and we got stuck somewhere nearby because of the Ejipura flyover work”, he wrote.
