New Delhi: The chargesheet filed by Delhi Police in Shraddha Walker murder case reveals many chilling details and also the gory manner in which Aaftab Poonawala shred the body of his live-in partner into pieces.
As per the chargesheet, Aaftab made many bone-chilling confessions to the police and also admitted that he tried to mislead the cops on earlier occasions, by giving false information.
Aaftab used mixer to crush his live-in partner Shraddha’s bones into powder and also disposed off her head after 3 months of murder, says the chargesheet.
Aaftab told the cops that after murdering his live-in partner Shraddha Walker, he went outside and purchased a saw, 3 blades, hammer and also plastic clips from a hardware shop.
Delhi Police filed the 6600 page chargesheet in the cold-blooded murder of Shraddha Walker today.
The chargesheet reveals that he chopped the body into 35 pieces and kept them in fridge to avoid decaying of body parts and kept on disposing them during night to avoid being caught.
While police took him to many locations for tracing the body parts, it managed to recover less than 20 pieces. Sharddha’s phone was recovered from Mumbai.
Aaftab reportedly killed his live-in partner in May, however, the news of her murder broke months later, after Shraddha’s friends suspected foulplay & told her father about her ‘missing’ status. Father approached the cops and when Delhi Police began questioning him, the chilling murder started to unfold.
Aaftab told the cops, “I bought a fridge on May 19, 2022 so that I may keep the remaining body parts of Shraddha in the refrigerator to prevent it from stench and decomposing.”.
Earlier, the killer live-in partner had admitted in polygraph and narco-analysis test that he had murdered Shraddha after dispute over expenditures. He also remained remorseless while admitting to gory crime, investigating officials had told newsmen.
Aaftab & Shraddha had met in Mumbai via a dating App in 2019. After living in together in Mumbai for sometime, they moved to Delhi after latter’s family objected to their relationship. Aaftab used to fight with Shraddha over household expenses and also had thrashed her earlier, the photos of which surfaced during investigation.
